In this activity, you will explore Day One's CREW Values - Challenge, Respect, Enjoy and Reward by answering questions that dive into what these values mean to you personally and how you apply them in your work and personal life.
OUR CREW VALUES
As part of Day One's employment process, we would like to share our company values with you as a candidate. Everything we do in the business is aligned to the following values:
CHALLENGE
RESPECT
ENJOY
REWARD
Why do we need company values?
in order to successfully achieve our company vision and mission we need some guiding principles to operate by
to foster and develop a company culture we all need to buy into and live the company values
to enable us to enjoy our work there needs to be a framework we can adopt so that we are all working to the same standards
CHALLENGE
These are just a few words that “challenge” conjures up for us: assumptions, peers, negativity, status quo, your thinking, ideas, problems, colleagues, your work, unacceptable behaviour and unrealistic expectations.
Most importantly - challenge yourself.
RESPECT
treat and respect others as you wish to be
respect and value our customers as without them we would not have a company to work in
your colleagues
the working environment
earn your respect by leading by example
company property
company leaders
our values
yourself!
ENJOY
We spend a large amount of time in the working environment. So coming to a place that you enjoy is far more healthy than going somewhere you hate. We can all contribute to making the working day a more pleasantone. If you notice someone feeling a little down, do something nice to make their day a little more enjoyable. Not every day will be all smiles and balloons, but try to be positive and good things will happen.
REWARD
The company values your contribution to making it more successful and as such you should be rewarded fairly in return. Some of the ways we strive to do this are; praise and recognition, an environment to excel in, team events, company perks, financial incentives, training and career progression.
